After graduating with a 1st in fashion design from Kingston University in 2005, I have worked across different levels of the industry, from high end luxury, to contemporary designer brands. I began my career at Sonia Rykiel, working as a studio assistant in Paris, since then I have worked for Burberry, Betty Jackson, Mulberry and Topshop Unique. I am currently Head of Design at Markus Lupfer, where I have been for the past 3 years. I have mainly specialised in woven products, from outerwear and tailoring to dresses and soft separates, but have also overseen the jersey and knitwear collections at both Markus Lupfer and Topshop Unique, and have a good understanding of range planning and the development process in all categories.

Passionate about design, I love immersing myself in original research and inspiration, from new colours to interesting prints and fabrics. I design my collections to tell a story, rich in colour, texture and detail.

My most recent experience of working in a small design studio at Markus Lupfer has helped shaped my understanding of managing a team and overseeing the full collection from start to finish, as well as being involved in many different sides of the business. Managing the development team, and being the sole designer on the woven side of the collection, has allowed me to work closely with the in-house pattern cutters and sample room in fittings, finishings and key details. My skills also include an extensive fabric mill knowledge, and fabric, print and embroidery developments. In other areas of the business, I oversee the direction of the pre-collection lookbooks and the bi-annual presentations at LFW, and work with the sales team to ensure cohesive ranges are ready for wholesale appointments each season.
