i can’t wait to see ‘made of stone’, a new documentary on the stone roses being released in the UK on the 5th june. the film was made by avid fan and ‘this is england’ director shane meadows, it follows the band as they announce their reunion after 15 years and play three sell out gigs in manchester.
everyone must go and see the amazing patternity pattern power exhibition on Redchurch Street dedicated to all things stripey. patternity is the brain child of Anna Murray and Grace Winteringam and is a creative organisation dedicated to beautiful patterns found in everything we do and see.
there are talk most evenings and workshops to immerse yourself in the world of pattern + it’s impact on our culture. the exhibition runs until the 21st april. go//

Heinz Edelmann was the influential graphic designer and illustrator best known for his art direction of The Beatles’ 1968 animated musical “Yellow Submarine” and “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds”
He is one of my favourite illustrators, his colourful psychedelic creations became the visual signature of the drug enthused generation of the 1960s.
